Racking up millions of downloads, our series of Talking characters was a big hit with children and parents, with tens of thousands of 5 star reviews
Talking Gremlin and friends was our first popular app and allowed us to continue bootstrapping FIPLAB in it's early years as a startup.
The app became the #1 free app on the App Store and I quickly leveraged this popularity by launching an array of other characters that were successfully cross-promoted.
The success of the apps was recognised by Apple and FIPLAB was one of the first developers to be invited to join the iAds Premium program.
The ability to share videos of your interactions with the Talking Gremlin and well as record your voice in a funny pitch led to hundreds of viral videos being posted to YouTube by our users.
