Developers needed rankings, keyword and review intelligence without handing another service sensitive credentials.Solution
A native, local-first Mac app using public App Store data across 154 territories.Impact
No login, no remote portfolio database and useful daily insight from the menu bar or full app.

The problem
Developers need chart position, keyword movement, competitor context and reviews, but most tools ask for another account and sensitive App Store credentials. Peak began with one decision: public data should not require private access.
The solution
Peak is a native SwiftUI Mac app that tracks chart positions, keywords and reviews. There is no login, no App Store Connect credential and no remote portfolio database.
Public sources, one local model
Peak combines Apple chart feeds, App Store pages, search results and public reviews. Refreshes run in separate stages, so one slow source cannot block the whole app. SwiftData stores history locally on the Mac.
The evidence
The main window handles chart history, keywords, reviews, notifications and CSV export. A menu-bar view keeps daily movement one click away.
Refresh without hammering Apple’s services
Duplicate requests are removed, refreshes are paced and the last useful state remains visible while new data loads. That protects Apple’s public services and prevents flickering or empty panels.
Global without becoming overwhelming
Developers can track 154 App Store territories without turning the interface into an enterprise analytics dashboard.
The impact
Peak turns years of FIPLAB launch experience into a focused product other developers can use without surrendering their data.
