I’m an owner-operator, not a career consultant. I’ve spent more than two decades making decisions with my own time, money and reputation on the line. The products and businesses I built have generated millions in profit.

I learn unfamiliar areas quickly enough to test the advice I’m given. I read the contracts, inspect the numbers and ask technical teams to show how their decisions hold up.

I’ve built and led remote teams across product, development, design, support and operations. I set the direction, make the trade-offs and stay close to the work.

I follow problems across the business and get the right people working on the fix. That gives CEOs and investors an honest answer and someone who will stay to improve the result.

  1. 2009–Now

    FIPLAB

    Founder & Head of Product

    Built a profitable global Mac software company without outside capital.

    • Led product, pricing, sales, customer support and a remote design and development team.
    • Launched more than 60 products reaching 40M+ downloads and 500K daily users.
    • Built a cross-promotion system that reached 350K+ users and more than doubled sales.
    • Built a direct store, trials and licensing system used by 100K+ customers; total sales increased 20%.

    Run operations across an ecommerce and manufacturing business.

    • Work across product, fulfilment, finance, systems, suppliers and customer operations.
    • Built internal tools and clearer processes to reduce manual work and improve visibility.

    Founded and built a recruitment technology company, then sold it in 2008.

    Founded and grew a gaming news and community business, then sold it in 2007.

    Worked across 15 fixed-income ETFs and 10 platinum swap funds.

    • Automated a daily cash-flow process, saving about two hours per person each day.
